Penn Star Coaches Wanted '10

U13/U15 US Lacrosse Youth Festival Tournament Teams

The PLA is looking for coaches to help conduct tryouts and prepare the PLA Chapter teams for the US Lacrosse Youth Festivals this June.

The "Penn Star" coaches and teams selected will represent the Philadelphia area in at least two national competitions: 1) U13 National Youth Lacrosse Festival, scheduled for June 11-13 in Kings Island, OH and 2) U15 National Youth Lacrosse Festival, scheduled for June 18-20 in Lake George, New York. Requirements are as follows:

• Experience coaching youth lacrosse players;
• Available for selection of the team at one or more tryouts starting May 2;
• Availability for at least one or two practices per week starting late May;
• Responsible for arranging for timely submission of articles and pictures to detail your Penn Star team’s activities (articles/pictures to be published by the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association on the PLA’s web site);
• For U13 Coaches - availability for the U13 National Youth Lacrosse Festival, scheduled for June 11-13 in Kings Island, Ohio; and
• For U15 Coaches - availability for the U15 National Youth Lacrosse Festival, scheduled for June 18-20 in Lake George, New York.
